Mahoning County welcomes 10 new U.S. citizens

YOUNGSTOWN — Mahoning County welcomed 10 new U.S. citizens this morning.

Judge Robert N. Rusu, of Mahoning County Probate Court presided over the ceremony, which naturalized the 10 citizens from countries including Ghana, the Philippines and Canada.

Judge Rusu asked the new citizens to make the country better and said that despite what they may hear in the national news, immigration is what makes America great.
