Warren police investigate parent threat at Lincoln K-8 school

WARREN

Police are investigating a threat Warren City Schools officials say a parent made toward the Lincoln K-8 school and its staff, over what a parent said was the mistreatment of her daughters on the school bus.

Police were contacted after a 3:45 p.m. phone call Tuesday from the parent. The woman made “several threats” to a secretary at the school, a Warren police report says. The school is on Atlantic Street Northeast.

The secretary said this was an “ongoing problem with this parent.”

No other information on the nature of the threats was provided in a police report.

A Warren man was convicted last year in Warren Municipal Court of telecommunications harassment and making false alarms after using Facebook to threaten a massacre at his daughter’s Warren public school over his child’s treatment by other children.
