American Association of University Women, Youngstown Branch, will meet at 10 a.m. Feb. 3 at the Poland Library, 311 S. Main St. Mary Adams, a retired Youngstown City Schools art teacher will present “We have a Poipus” puppets. For information about the program, visit www.wehavepoipuspuppets.org. Goldwing Road Riders Association Chapter M will meet Jan. 27 for dinner at 5 p.m. with a gathering to follow at 6 p.m. at Dino’s Restaurant, 10941 Mahoning Ave., North Jackson. All motorcyclists are welcome. The group meets on the fourth Saturday of each month.

Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1958 Men will meet at 8:30 a.m. Saturday at a new location, What’s Cookin’, 6007 South Ave., Boardman. The group meets the third Saturday of every month.

CLUBS

First Friday Club Speaker’s Luncheon Series will host the Reverend George V. Murry S.J., Bishop of the Diocese of Youngstown, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 1 at The Georgetown, 5945 South Ave., Boardman. Bishop Murry will speak about “The Church Today.” Cost is $16. Youngstown South Christian Women’s Connection will host a luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 14 at Avion on the Water Banquet Center, 2177 W. Western Reserve Road, Canfield. SOCIETIES

Audobon Society of Mahoning Valley will host “Blue-footed, Red-billed and Magnificent: A Galapagos Adventure” at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Canfield Library, 43 W. Main St. Program is open to the public.

Austintown Historical Society will host its annual president’s dinner at 6 p.m. Feb. 7 at Davidson’s Restaurant in Cornersburg. The evening will feature Wade Schisler sharing recollections related to the “Pogey,” also known as the old county home, “The Infirmary,” poor house and old folks home. SUPPORT GROUPS

Crossroads Hospice Charitable Foundation is sponsoring a grief support group to help people move beyond the pain of any loss and achieve healing. Each meeting is facilitated by certified grief recovery specialists and is free of charge. The meetings take place from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursdays through Feb. 22 at Touch Heaven Church, 10 Skyline Drive, Canfield. For information or to register, call 330-899-9100. F.O.C.U.S. Breast-Cancer Survivors Support Group will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Davidson’s Restaurant, 3636 Canfield Road, Cornersburg. For information call Davidson’s at 330-793-0033. All breast cancer survivors and their support system are welcome.

Grief Recovery Instructional Support Groups will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home Care Center, next to the funeral home, on Main Street in Hubbard. The groups are lead by Phillip Roland, grief counselor for the funeral home, and are open to anyone who has suffered the loss of a loved one. NAMI Mahoning Valley offers support groups for those who deal with mental illness. Support groups meet as follows: Girard Family Support, first Thursday of each month at 11 a.m. at the Girard Library, 105 E. Prospect St., and Austintown Family Support Group, 7 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month at Alta Care, 142 Javit Court. NAMI Connection, a support group for people with a mental health diagnosis meets at the following locations: 1:30 p.m. Thursdays at the Community Center, 1344 Fifth Ave., Youngstown; 6 p.m. the second and fourth Thursdays at Alta Care in Austintown; and NAMI Connection for the dual diagnosed will meet at 6 p.m. the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month at the Community Center, 1344 Fifth Ave., Youngstown.
