Today’s entertainment picks:

v JD Eicher’s Summer Songfest, 3:30-11 p.m.: A laid-back end of summer music festival ($12), featuring Drew Copeland and Ken Block of Sister Hazel, outdoors at Soap Gallery, 117 S. Champion St., downtown Youngstown.

v Northeast Ohio Dukes Car Show and Stunt Show, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.: This event at the Trumbull County Fairgrounds ($15; $10 for children, senior citizens and military) features some original cars from TV and movies, a car show, stunt show and more; northeastdukes.net.

v Kings Highway, 5 p.m.: Opening for this Tom Petty tribute band ($8) will be Invincible (Pat Benatar tribute band). It’s at the Warren Community Amphitheatre; riverrockattheamp.com. The evening will be preceded by an afternoon car show at Sunrise Inn, just a few blocks down East Market Street.

v Meet the YSU Marching Pride, 7:30 p.m.: Youngstown State University’s marching band will preview the music it will play at Penguin football games this season during this free event at Stambaugh Stadium.

v Columbiana Street Market, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Growers and marketers will show and sell their products off South Main Street, between Park Avenue and Friend Street.

NFL preseason football (8 p.m., CBS): The New Orleans Saints travel to Los Angeles to take on the Chargers.

Gospel comedian at New Beginning

Comedian Tim Lovelace will give a free performance at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at New Beginning Church, 3000 Market St.

Lovelace has been inducted into the Gospel Hall of Fame.

Animals art show

WARREN

The All About Animals Art Show will take place today from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Courthouse Square. Animal lovers, along with art vendors, nonprofit animal organizations and local businesses will take part.

Attendees can bring their pet on a leash.

Aretha’s funeral

NEW YORK

Former President Bill Clinton, Smokey Robinson, the Rev. Jesse Jackson and Cicely Tyson will be among the speakers at Aretha Franklin’s funeral.

Franklin’s rep, Gwendolyn Quinn, says other speakers will include former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, music mogul Clive Davis, the Rev. Al Sharpton, Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder and Bishop T.D. Jakes.

Franklin died Aug. 16 at age 76. Her funeral will take place in Detroit at Greater Grace Temple on Friday.

The Rev. Jasper Williams Jr. will deliver the eulogy. He is pastor of Salem Baptist Church in Atlanta.
