Stanley E. and Delma P. Grimes celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary at a dinner at The Brown Derby restaurant in Medina with their family. The dinner was hosted by their son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Dawn Grimes.
The couple are also the parents of David Lee Grimes of Owensville, Ky., and Deborah Grimes O’Rourke of Austintown. The couple have six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mr. Grimes and the former Delma Lang were married June 22, 1957, at the Nazarene Church in Clarksburg, W.Va.
Mrs. Grimes retired in 1994 as a laborer with Industrial Chemical. She is a member of Order of the Eastern Star-Amaranth - White Shrine.
Mr. Grimes retired in 1993 as a millwright for Alcoa Inc. in Cleveland. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean conflict from 1952 to 1955. He is a 32nd-degree Mason, OES and OFA.
