Local federation of women’s clubs plans for annual fundraiser

The Youngstown Area Federation of Women’s Clubs Inc. recently met to review plans for its annual fundraiser luncheon, “Autumn Glory.”

The luncheon will take place at the Tippecanoe Country Club in Canfield on Oct. 18 at 11:30 a.m. Raffle tickets will be sold and apparel from Chico’s, a women’s clothing store, will be modeled.

Proceeds from the event enable the organization to provide college scholarships to non-traditional female students who attend Youngstown State University.

Delphine Baldwin Casey is to be the Mistress of Ceremony as well as the guest speaker.

A reservation for the luncheon can be made by mailing a check payable to YAFWC Inc. in the amount of $35 per person to Catherine Campana, 5590 Sampson Drive, Girard, Ohio 44420. The check is the reservation and all checks should be mailed by Oct. 6.
