Paranormal Convention coming to New Castle

Speakers and vendors from all paranormal realms take part Saturday in a day and night of lectures and activities at the Hill-Con Paranormal Convention at Haunted Hill View Manor.

Lecture topics include:

SDLqDemons, Spirits and Exorcism: Reality versus fiction,” 11 a.m.

“UFO landing and creature sighting of Presque Isle State Park in Erie,” 1 p.m.

“Bigfoot Field Researchers Organization,” 2 p.m.

Brett McGinnis will discuss Reality Paranormal TV and Paranormal Filmmaking at 5 p.m.

Building tours will be available, last 45 minutes and cost $20 per person.

An escape room will be available from 2 to 6 p.m. for $20 per person.

Hill-Con Investigation will take place from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. Cost is $50 per person by reservation only.

Haunted Hill View Manor was once known as The Lawrence County Home for the Aged or “poor farm,” housing the county’s mentally ill, destitute and elderly residents with no known family. It opened Oct. 19, 1926, and closed in 2004 due to financial constraints.

Admission only for this family-friendly event is $10; children 8 and under are free.
