MASSILLON

The Tigers’ passing tandem of Aiden Longwell-to-Austin Kutscher was too much for the Irish (1-3). Longwell hit Kutscher for four touchdowns covering (39, 34, 69 and 32 yards).Longwell passed for 326 yards. Kutscher caught seven for 199 yards. Joe Floyd was a workhorse for the Irish, gaining 127 yards on 33 carries. Jared Fabry rushed for 108 yards and passed for 106.

Canfield 35, Lakeside 6

CANFIELD

Paul Breinz had three rushing touchdowns, including a 58 yard run and Canfield (4-0) handed Lakeside (3-1) their first loss of the season. Breinz totaled 114 yards on the ground, while Vinny Fiorenza passed for 71 yards and ran for 34 more. Nick Ieraci returned an interception 47 yards for a touchdown to lead the Cardinals defense. Antonio Harris led Lakeside with 77 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Struthers 36, Jefferson 6

STRUTHERS

Willie Mitchell scored two touchdowns and gained 90 yards on 13 carries for the Wildcats (4-0, 2-0 All-American Conference Blue). His scores covered 1 and 3 yards. Tyrese Hawkins scored on a 73-yard run and JD Hall passed for 110 yards. He threw a 5-yard touchdown pass to Kylel Griffin. For the Falcons (1-3, 1-2), JJ Henson rushed for 42 yards and passed for another 66.

Girard 54, Champion 0

GIRARD

Morgan Clardy rushed for 201 yards on just five carries to lead the Indians (4-0, 1-0 AAC Blue). He scored touchdowns on runs coverin 17 and 85 yards. Mark Waid passed for 184 yard and threw four touchdown passes. Michael Belcik caught one of them for a 50-yard score. Anthony Backus caught two (6 and 39 yards). Jimmy Jones had the other (9 yards). Nino Mayle returned an interception 71 yards for score. For the Golden Flashes (0-4, 0-1), Nick Stahlman passed for 61 yards. Nathan Stahlman caught three for 23 yards.

LaBrae 27, Campbell 13

CAMPBELL

Kent Wolford passed for 131 yards and two touchdowns to lead the LaBrae (2-2) attack. Wolford found Walt Allie and Aaron Iller for touchdown passes. Colton Stoneman led the Vikings ground attack with 94 yards. Campbell was led by Darion Jones who passed for 69 yards and a touchdown.

South Range 31, Zanesville 13

BEAVER TOWNSHIP

Aniello Buzzacco had four total touchdowns as the high powered South Range (4-0) offense kept on rolling. Buzzacco totaled 186 yards through the air, while Peyton Remish led the Raiders’ ground attack with 189 yards. Buzzacco’s favorite target was Mathias Combs. Combs had eight catches for 153 yards and two touchdowns. Caine martin led Zanesville with 113 yards rushing.

Liberty 32, Brookfield 0

BROOKFIELD

Dra Rushton ran for 130 yards and three touchdowns and passed for another 180 and a score as Liberty (2-2) rolled past Brookfield (1-3). Capone Haywood and Quaishon Campbell were his two favorite targets totaling 68 and 77 yards receving respectively. Brookfield was paced by Alex Clark who ran for 108 yards.

Springfield 42, Jackson-Milton 6

NEW MIDDLETOWN

Luke Snyder rushed for 102 yards and two touchdowns for Springfield (2-2). Tigers quarterback Brannon Brungard had a pair of touchdown passes. Michael Liberato ran for 23 yards and threw for a touchdown for Jackson-Milton (1-3).

McDonald 47, Waterloo 7

ATWATER

Alex Cintron rushed for 191 yards and added 42 receving yards for McDonald (3-1). Ryan Scala passed for 68 yards for the Blue Devils.

East Palestine 36, United 7

EAST PALESTINE

Parker Sherry rushed for 111 yards and passed for 143 to lead the Bulldogs (2-2, 1-0 Eastern Ohio Athletic Conference). He scored on a 14-yard run and hit Braden Kemp for two 9-yard touchdowns. Vincent Delarosa and Dominic Posey also scored touchdowns. For the Eagles (2-2, 0-1), Tyler Lippiatt scored the touchdown and Nathan Mikell passed for 110 yards. Ethan Antram rushed for 95 yards.

Western Reserve 68, Sebring 0

BERLIN CENTER

Dominic Velasquez scored five touchdowns and threw for 210 yards on 7-of-8 passing. Kade Hilles caught two passes for a game-high 115 yards and 2 touchdowns. Nick Cavoulas completed six passes for 81 yards and two touchdowns.Western Reserve caught 13 passes for an average of 22.4 yards per completion. Six different Blue Devils recorded at least 20 yards receiving. The Blue Devils (3-1) combined for 373 total yards and held Sebring (0-4) to -19 total yards. Christian Belt was held to 10 yards on 20 carries.

Lisbon 43, Wellsville 20

LISBON

Lisbon running backs Cameron Summers and Justin Sweeney combined for 20 carries for 249 yards. Summers ran for 154 yards and a touchdown, and Sweeney ran for 95 and two touchdowns. The Blue Devils ran for 282 yards and scored five touchdown while not attempting a pass. For Wellsville, Derrick Suggs ran for 103 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries. Troy Carter and Darien Suggs were held without a completion and were intercepted three times.

Alliance 49, West Branch 45

ALLIANCE

TJ Deshields threw for 270 yards and six touchdowns for West Branch (1-3). Deshields also ran for 11 yards on 5 carries and scored a touchdown. Kyle Linhart caught 10 passes from Deshields for 193 yards and 4 touchdowns. Jesse Rastetter was West Branch’s second leading receiver, catching five passes for 52 yards. For Alliance (3-1), Duce Johnson ran for a game-high 199 yards and 3 touchdowns. Quarterback Howard Frazier threw for 170 yards and 2 TDs on 14 completions.

Windham 41, Mathews 14

WINDHAM

Leading for Windham was Phillip Majorca with 18 rushes for 166 yards and two touchdowns. Mathews’ Dillon Canter had 14 rushes for 42 yards. Canter threw for 90 yards off seven completions. Blake Eye threw for 274 yards off seven completions for Windham. Daniel Canter was the lead receiver with 40 yards for Mathews and Eric Park received 168 off five catches and made three touchdowns.

Conotton Valley 20, Southington 7

BOWERSTON

Matt Caldwell had a 95-yard receiving touchdown in the second quarter, and a 103 yard interception return in the fourth quarter to lead Conotton Valley (1-3) over Southington (2-2). Joey Meyers ran for 99 yards and a touchdown for Southington.
