Staff report

YOUNGSTOWN

The annual Zombie Crawl will be resurrected this Friday, with registration from noon to 8 p.m. at B&O Station, 530 Mahoning Ave., just across the river from downtown.

The event culminates in hordes of the undead shambling into the downtown area for a pub crawl. All downtown establishments are participating, as well as B&O Station and the Maennerchor, which is a block west of the B&O. Each will offer its own entertainment and drink specials.

Registration is $3, and free T-shirts will be given to the first 100 people.

A trolley will make a continuous loop to all the bars throughout the evening.

Makeup artists will be at the B&O Station for those who want to go full zombie. Prices range from $10 and up.

The Zombie Crawl will once again feature a group performing Michael Jackson’s “Thriller” dance at 6 p.m. Immediately after the dance, the Zombie Crawl will begin.

This will be the first year that the Zombie Crawl will take place on a Friday, instead of a Saturday.
