Township police arrested Casey Johnston, 22, of Sharon, Pa., on Tuesday on charges of public indecency and disorderly conduct after they observed her sitting half-naked in a parking lot, according to a police report.

Police said they responded to a plaza on Boardman-Poland Road about 7 p.m. Tuesday in reference to a woman “acting strangely” and “believed to be under the influence” at Plato’s Closet. Police reported finding Johnston “sitting nude from the waist down and intoxicated in a parked car” outside Sleepy Hollow Sleep Shop.

A male who was with Johnston told police Johnston had urinated in the back seat of the vehicle.

The report added police also cited Johnston for an open container of alcohol.

Arrested after possible OD

BOARDMAN

A Girard man faces an inducing-panic charge in connection with his suspected drug overdose, according to a police report.

Police arrested Scott McCleery, 38, on a warrant Tuesday.

According to the report, the charge stems from a July 8 overdose in the parking lot of a Market Street business. An officer reported seeing McCleery unconscious in a car about 6:30 a.m.

Police were able to awaken McCleery, who was taken to a hospital. He told police he had taken an anti-psychotic medication, according to the report. Police did not report finding any drugs in the car, but took part of a plastic bag and $700 in cash from the vehicle.

The domestic-violence charge he faces in the incident was elevated to a felony due to his having two previous domestic-violence convictions, police said.
