Boardman police arrest woman for public indecency, disorderly conduct

BOARDMAN — Township police arrested a woman on public indecency and disorderly conduct charges after observing her sitting half-naked in the parking lot of a township business, according to a police report.

Charged is Casey Johnston, 22, of Sharon, Pa.

According to the report, police responded to a plaza on Boardman-Poland Road about 7 p.m. Tuesday in reference to a woman “acting strangely” and “believed to be under the influence” at Plato’s Closet. Police reported finding Johnson “sitting nude from the waist down and intoxicated in a parked car” outside Sleepy Hollow Sleep Shop.

A male who was with Johnson told police that Johnston also had urinated in the backseat of the vehicle.

In addition to the disorderly conduct and public indecency charges, Johnson was cited for an open container of alcohol, according to the report.

Police said she behaved in a “turbulent” manner and took her directly to the Mahoning County jail. She remains in the jail.
