COLUMBUS
Police in Ohio said an unidentified person fired several shots at officers while they were on a traffic stop.
Columbus police said no one was injured in the shooting Wednesday, and police didn’t return fire.
A police statement said an officer had pulled over a motorist for driving a suspicious vehicle just before 6 a.m.
Police said backup had arrived when someone appeared from between two houses and fired upon the officers and the stopped vehicle.
