Help Hotline receives one-year, $44K grant

YOUNGSTOWN

Help Hotline Crisis Center Inc. has been awarded a one-year, $43,955 grant from the Hine Memorial Fund of the Youngstown Foundation that will help support the agency’s Mahoning County Special Navigator for Special Needs Families project.

The project creates a central information/referral source for parents and caregivers of children with special needs and provides personal contact. Special Navigator for Special Needs Families is overseen by Pamela Petras, a parent/family specialist.

The need for the project was based on the 2009 Parent/Caregiver survey completed by the Hine Memorial Fund of the Youngstown Foundation.
