Joyce Johnson Rouse, also known as “Earth Mama,” will come to the Unity Centre for Spiritual Living, 1226 Naylor Lloyd Road, next Sunday for a performance between 1 and 3 p.m. She also will participate in the Centre’s services at 11 a.m.
Rouse is a singer-songwriter, educator and environmental activist. She has written hundreds of songs which have been recorded by country musicians.
She lives with her husband in an eco-efficient home in Virginia, where they grow much of their own food and generate 60 percent of their power via wind and solar energy.
