“Chris Gethard: CAREER SUICIDE” (10 P.M., HBO): Chatting about depression, alcoholism and suicidal urges hardly seems like the stuff of laughs, but in “Chris Gethard: Career Suicide,” the comedian somehow makes it work. It’s a darkly funny solo act in which he dives into his experiences with mental illness and psychiatry.

“Community Connection” (Sunday at 6:30 a.m. on 21 WFMJ-TV and 11 a.m. on WBCB-TV): Ana Torres and Hector Colon of O.C.C.H.A. (Organizacion Civic y Cultural Hispana Americana) will join host Madonna Chism Pinkard to discuss the 6th International Latino Food Festival.

Next, Leslie and Suzanne Tierney of the Lupus Foundation of America will discuss support services, and Dr. Kathy Padgitt and Kimberly Thompson will discuss its effects, particularly with black women.

“A Conversation with Dee” (Sunday at 7:30 a.m. on WYTV-TV): Host Dee Crawford will talk with organizers of Youngstown Urban Minority Addiction Drug Alcohol Outreach Program about how they are targeting a specific at-risk population for substance abuse and new programming that will include juveniles.
