TODAY

Canfield Christian Church, 123 S. Broad St., will offer breakfast from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Meals are free and donations are accepted. A Bible study will take place at 9 a.m.

Martin Luther Lutheran Church, 420 Clearmount Drive, Youngstown, is offering a soup luncheon after the noon Lenten services. This week the menu comprises stuffed pepper soup, bread, beverage and homemade dessert. Donations will be accepted. Quarts of soup to take home will be $6.

THURSDAY

VFW Col. Louis J. Campbell Post 3538, 157 Lowellville Road, Struthers, will serve spaghetti dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals include meatballs, salad, bread and butter, and coffee. The cost is $7.50 for adults and $4 for children under 8. Carryout orders are $8 and will be available until 6 p.m. Containers will be provided.

FRIDAY

Archangel Michael Parish Center, 401 12th St., Campbell, will host dine-in and takeout fish and shrimp dinners from 11:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Dinners will be $12. Various baked goods will be available. To order call 330-755-9072.

Argus Lodge 545, 5050 Shields Road, Canfield, will serve a fish dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Fellowship Hall. Proceeds will benefit lodge charities. Basilica and National Shrine of Our Lady of Lebanon, 2759 N. Christ Our Savior Parish at Holy Trinity Church, 250 Bridge St., Struthers, will sell potato, cabbage and lekvar pirogi. The cost is $6 a dozen. There is a limit of three dozen cabbage pirogi while supplies last. Orders will be taken from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday and from 8 to 10 a.m. Friday at 330-755-0064. No walk-in orders will be accepted. Pickup will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Containers will be provided.

Girard Knights of Columbus Council 2935, 122 S. State St., will host a fish dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. Meals are $9 for adults and $4.50 for children 4 to 12, under 4 eats for free. The menu consists of baked or fried fish, french fries, macaroni and cheese or haluski, coleslaw, bread, coffee and cake. Soda and water will be $1. Takeout is available. Peter and Paul Croatian Church, 421 Covington St., Youngstown, will host fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. The cost is $10 for adults and includes a 10-ounce Haddock fillet, coleslaw, coffee, tea, lemonade, iced tea, water and dessert with the choice of a side of french fries, haluski or macaroni and cheese. Holy Trinity Serbian Orthodox Church, 53 Laird Ave., Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. at the church hall. The menu will consist of baked or fried Icelandic cod or fried haddock; sides of Spanish rice, haluski, macaroni and cheese, french fries or string beans (choose two); coleslaw or applesauce; bread and butter; and coffee or tea. Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, 526 W. Rayen Ave., Youngstown, will take orders for potato and potato with kraut pirogi for $6 per dozen. No containers are necessary. Orders should be placed from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Thursday and from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday at 330-746-9528 and are to be picked up between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday at the church hall. Hot lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish Center, 4500 Norquest Blvd., Austintown, will serve fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. They will include baked or fried fish or shrimp, coleslaw and two sides, dessert and beverage. A pizza/pasta bar is included with all dine-in dinners. The cost is $11 for adults and $6 for children. Carryouts will be available.

St. Anne Ukrainian Catholic Church, 4310 Kirk Road, Austintown, will sell potato and cheese pirogi. To order call 330-799-0084 from 8:30 a.m. to noon Thursday and from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday. Pickup will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday. Cost is $7 for a baker’s dozen (no containers necessary). Walk-ins welcome. Use the side entrance.

St. Brendan Parish will sell fish dinners from 4 to 7 p.m. for $11 at Maxwell Hall, 144 N. Schenley Ave., Youngstown. The menu comprises baked, fried, cajun or beer-battered fish with the choice of macaroni and cheese, seasoned french fries, parsley potatoes, or haluski as a side. Dinner also includes bread, cake, coffee or tea, and coleslaw or applesauce. Cold beverages will be extra. Meals for children are $6, extra sides $3, and piece of fish $5. St. Maron Church, 1555 S. Meridian Road, Youngstown, will serve fish dinners from 3 to 7 p.m. for $10. The dinner includes choice of fish, one side, coleslaw, roll, coffee or tea and dessert. Sides include macaroni and cheese, pirogies, french fries, lentils or rice with carmelized onions. Shrimp scampi or grilled yellow fin tuna will be $14 each. Baked haddock with scampi sauce is $13. St. Paul the Apostle Church, 10143 Main St., New Middletown, will sell potato, sweet cabbage and cottage cheese pirogi for $5.75 a dozen. Cabbage pirogi orders are limited to three dozen per customer. Orders should be placed at 330-542-3525 from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be from noon to 3 p.m. Friday. St. Stanislaus Church, 430 Williamson Ave., Youngstown, sells potato, kraut and cottage cheese pirogi. Advance orders will be taken at 330-747-3024 from 8 a.m. to noon Thursday and Friday. Pickup will be from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The cost is $6.50 per dozen. Pirogi lunches will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Walk-in orders are welcome.

St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 4453 Warren-Sharon Road, Vienna, will serve fish dinners from 3:30 to 7 p.m. The menu comprises baked or fried white fish, pirogi, parsley potatoes, coleslaw, applesauce, bread, beverage and dessert. Take-outs are available beginning at 3. Adult meals are $10 and children under 12, $5; under 4 eats free.

Valley Christian Schools, 4401 Southern Blvd., Youngstown, will sell takeout fish dinners from 3 to 6 p.m. The menu consists of baked Italian or fried fish with coleslaw or applesauce, bread and butter, dessert, and a side of macaroni and cheese, haluski, or pirogies. Aut Mori Grotto will host its monthly all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon at the Aut Mori Grotto Banquet Hall, 563 N. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown. Menu will include sausage, eggs, sausage gravy and biscuits, potatoes, coffee and juice. Cost is $6 for adults, $3 for children under 10 and free for those under 3. Proceeds benefit Grotto charities. Braceville United Methodist Church, off state Route 82. A stuffed pork chop dinner will be served from 4 to 6:30 p.m. or until sold out. Liberty Township Firemen’s Association will sponsor its annual pancake and sausage social from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at W.S. Guy Middle School on Shady Road. The cost is $6 for adults and $4 for age 12 and under. The Firemen’s Association presents a scholarship annually to honor a fallen Liberty Township Firefighter, Ed Conricote.

St. Anthony Church, 1125 Turin St., Youngstown, will host a spaghetti dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dinner for adults is $8 and $4 for children under 10. Carryout containers will be provided. There also will be an auction and 50-50 raffle.

Youngstown Saxon Club, 710 S. Meridian Road, will host a pork-kraut dinner from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The meal includes dessert and coffee, tea or soda. Meals are $9.50 for adults and $5 for children. Takeouts are available.

Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church will sponsor a free neighborhood community dinner from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the Orthodox Center, 1025 N. Belle Vista Ave., Youngstown.

Holy Family Parish, 2729 Center Road, Poland, will host a free pancake and sausage breakfast sponsored by Holy Family Youth Ministry. It will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. April 9. Donations will be accepted and will be used for a missionary trip to the Appalachian area of Kentucky in June. The breakfast is sponsored by Holy Family Council of the Knights of Columbus 15573.

St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, 301 Struthers-Liberty Road, Campbell, will host a Russian Easterfest from noon to 3 p.m. April 1. For sale will be kolachi, paska bread, butter molds, horseradish, kielbasi and bacon. Ethnic foods will be available for takeout.
