The parents of Ashley Baron and Nicholas Shuluga are announcing the couple’s engagement
The bride-elect is the daughter of Thomas Baron III of Struthers and Terri Patris of Austintown. The prospective groom is the son of Joseph and Leida Shuluga of Lowellville.
The wedding will take place at 3 p.m. May 5 at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville. An adult reception will follow at 7 p.m. at the Mahoning Country Club in Girard. Invitations will be issued for both events.
Miss Baron earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Youngstown State University. She is a teacher at the Mahoning County Educational Service Center in Poland.
Mr. Shuluga graduated from YSU with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. He teaches entrepreneurship classes at Struthers High School, and is a volunteer firefighter for Poland Township Fire Department.
