WARREN — Trumbull County Engineer Randy Smith has hired Weathersfield Township Trustee Steven Gerberry of Mineral Ridge to serve as Smith’s deputy administrative assistant.
A news release says Gerberry will be involved in providing assistance to county townships in abating nuisances and blight.
He also will be “an integral part of the staff” as a highway supervisor and highway superintendent retire, the release says. He earns $40,997 annually.
Gerberry, who has been trustee eight years, said he will continue as a trustee and is running for re-election this year.
