UPDATE | Man in car shot in the 1900 block of Josephine Avenue

YOUNGSTOWN

A man in a car was shot this morning by someone inside a house in the 1900 block of Josephine Avenue.

Capt. Brad Blackburn of the Detective Bureau said the victim drove himself to a home on Atkinson Avenue where he was then taken to the hospital. 

Blackburn said the man was severely wounded.  The rounds that wounded the man came from inside the house, Blackburn said.

Police did not if anyone was in the home so they waited until a tactical team came to breach the door. Some weapons were found inside as well as a pit bull puppy.
