AUSTINTOWN

A man accused of pushing his wife to the ground while she held their 1-year-old child faces charges of child endangerment.

The wife of Thomas Kuhns, 36, of Austintown, told police he was “going crazy” after she told him she wanted a divorce.

He reportedly knocked her cellphone out of her hand, and when she bent to pick it up, he pushed her over while she held her 1-year-old child and fell into her other 1-year-old child, who fell and injured his eye. She had to call 911 from the neighbor’s house as Kuhns purportedly slammed her phone into the ground, breaking it.

Kuhns is charged with domestic violence, endangering children and obstructing official business.
