Nurse Practitioner Cynthia Daniels of Associates in Women’s Health of the Mahoning Valley Inc. is expanding her practice to full time and is accepting new obstetrics and gynecology patients throughout the week, including Saturdays.
“Daniels’ presence and knowledge of prenatal care and female health is a great benefit to us and our patients,” said Dr. Rodney Hill, owner of Associates in Women’s Health Associates in Women’s Health, 1350 Fifth Ave., Suite 324.
Daniels, a registered nurse and board-certified nurse practitioner in Ohio, is a clinical nursing instructor at Youngstown State University.
Daniels received a diploma in nursing from Sharon General Hospital School of Nursing, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from YSU, a master’s degree with a concentration in chronic illness from the Clinical Nurse Specialist Program at YSU, and a post master of science certificate from the Family Nurse Practitioner Program, also at YSU.
Her nurse-practitioner responsibilities at Associates in Women’s Health include providing prenatal care up to delivery, gynecological exams and postmenopausal care. She also performs in-office procedures such as transvaginal and abdominal ultrasounds.
Associates in Women’s Health of the Mahoning Valley Inc. is a female health care provider in Youngstown specializing in obstetrics and gynecology.
With more than 15 years of experience as an OB/GYN doctor, Dr. Hill provides services such as birth-control management, comprehensive prenatal management, baby delivery and postnatal management.
In addition, Dr. Hill treats polycystic ovarian syndrome, a leading cause of infertility; chronic pelvic pain; osteoporosis and menopause. On-site ultrasounds, including 3-D and 4-D, are available.
Walk-ins are welcome, and appointments are available Monday through Saturday.
