'Fast cash' puts Youngstown man on fast track to jail

AUSTINTOWN — Police reportedly discovered cocaine and heroin in the waistband of a Youngstown man during a traffic stop.

Willie Key, 30, of Halleck Street in Youngstown, is charged with drug abuse, drug trafficking in heroin and cocaine, trafficking a controlled device and was issued a citation for driving under suspension.

"When you busted, you busted," Key reportedly said in a video interview with police. "I ain't gonna blame this on my rough childhood. I mean, who would want to work when there is fast cash to be made out there, man, you know?"

Police stopped Key Sunday night on North Roanoke Avenue after he was driving in the center of Oakwood Avenue, the report says.

Key reportedly had a bag of cocaine, a bag of heroin and a marijuana cigarette in his possession.

His court date is set for today at 1 p.m.
