Niles mayor calls for special city council meetings Friday and Monday

NILES — Mayor Thomas Scarnecchia has called for special city council meetings at 5 p.m. Friday and Monday. The meetings, which will include discussions on a possible increase in the license plate fees and using the Regional Income Tax Agency for city income-tax collections, will take place in council chambers, 34 W. State St.
