The Ohio Department of Transportation has announced new road closures and a reopening for Trumbull County.
County Line Turnpike Road between Stroup Hickox Road and state Route 534 in Southington Township is closed through mid-October for a bridge replacement. The detour is state Route 534 to Easterly Road to Stroup Hickox. The project is scheduled to be completed by late October.
Beginning Monday, the Canoe City Park parking lot in Leavittsburg will be closed through next Sunday for resurfacing.
On Thursday, Liberty Street under Interstate 80 in Liberty Township will be closed from 5 a.m. to noon for bridge work. Liberty Street between Motor Inn Drive and Belmont Avenue is restricted to one lane for bridge construction through late August. Traffic is maintained by a traffic signal.
Beginning July 24, state Route 7 between state Route 82 and state Route 305 in Hartford Township will be closed through July 26 for a culvert replacement. The detour will be state Route 82 to state Route 193 to state Route 305.
State Route 46 between state Route 88 and state Route 87 in Mecca Township is open, ODOT reported.
