YOUNGSTOWN — Reports said a man burst into a woman's South Side home early today, beat her and took her phone.
Police were called about 1:25 a.m. to a home in the 500 block of West Warren Avenue, where the woman told police the man told her she would get her phone back when she returned some rings he wanted.
He threatened to kill her, then left the house, reports said.
Reports said the woman had fresh cuts on her lip and she wishes to press charges.
