The parents of Tara Yacovone of Mineral Ridge and Brad Ward of Newton Falls are announcing the couple’s engagement. The bride-elect is the daughter of Steve and Renee Yacovone of Mineral Ridge, and the prospective groom is the son of Larry and Sandy Ward of Mineral Ridge and Greg and Carol Murphy of Marlborough, Conn.
The ceremony will take place at 2 p.m. April 29 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Youngstown. A reception will follow at the Maronite Center. Invitations will be issued for both events.
Miss Yacovone graduated from Kent State University with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse at Summa Akron City Hospital in Akron.
Mr. Ward graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He is an estimator for Competitive Interiors in Ravenna.
