Y-Town Vodka will host its eighth annual Vodka Cocktail Competition at 7 p.m. Feb. 22 at Suzie’s Dogs & Drafts, 34 N Phelps St.
Competitors must create cocktails using Y-Town Vodka as a base using no more than five ingredients including garnish, and name the cocktail something Polish.
Cocktails will be judged by name, presentation, originality and taste, with $250 available in cash prizes.
Competitors must register by 5 p.m. Feb. 20. The event is open to the public, and cocktails will be available for the public to sample.
The event also will feature an extreme bartending, or “flairtending,” demonstration by a former national competitor from the Mahoning Valley.
