YOUNGSTOWN — Former Lowellville Police Chief Rich Jamrozik appeared at the Mahoning County Clerk of Courts to post bond.

A Mahoning County grand jury Thursday secretly indicted Jamrozik on three counts each of felonious assault and possessing criminal tools and two counts each tampering with evidence and theft in office.

Jamrozik appeared at the Mahoning County Courthouse with his defense attorney J. Gerald Ingram where Jamrozik paid 10 percent of a $30,000 bond.

The charges resulted from an investigation into domestic violence allegations, the Ohio Attorney General's office said in a news release.
