Youngstown Model Railroad Association members will host a model and toy train exhibit and workshop at 1 p.m. Sunday in the Carriage House, behind the Arms Museum, 648 Wick Ave. Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for seniors (60 years and older) and $5 for children age 3 to 18. Poland Historical Society will meet for a Christmas dinner at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Little Red Schoolhouse, 4515 Center Road. Entree, dessert and beverages will be provided by the society. Members are asked to take a side dish, casserole or salad to share. The society is selling Poland T-shirts this year. Cost is $12 for sizes small through extra-large.
William Holmes McGuffey Historical Society will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at Kravitz’s Deli meeting room, 3135 Belmont Ave., for Memories of a Lifetime with Sean Posey, local historian and author. Admission is $5 and open to the public. Refreshments will be served and a 50-50 raffle will take place to benefit the society’s education mission. Reservations are suggested.
