Police have identified the man who died of gunshot wounds after being found shot in a car early Tuesday as Tyreese Lynch, 22, whose last known address was on East Judson Avenue.
Lynch died about 7;30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital after officers responding about 12:40 a.m. to a gunfire sensor call found him wounded in a car on Chicago Avenue.
Lynch’s death is the city’s 13th homicide of 2017. In 2016, Youngstown had 18 homicides.
