2 Trumbull men revived with naloxone found with infant

Two young men from the Leavittsburg area were revived with the overdose reversal drug naloxone at 7:50 p.m. Wednesday when they were found unconscious at the Sunoco gas station on West Market Street with a 6-month-old baby in the back seat.

When police arrived, a woman was pouring milk in the mouth of the driver.

It appeared someone had poured milk into the mouth of the passenger, also 22 and of Gilmer Road in Leavittsburg, as well. Warren Patrolman Mike Currington told the woman to stop using the milk on the driver.

The baby had been taken into the store, Currington said.

He then administered naloxone to both men, and the driver regained consciousness. When ambulance personnel arrived, Currington removed the passenger from the car, and he also regained consciousness while ambulance personnel treated him.

The driver admitted he and the passenger had snorted heroin. Both men were taken to ValleyCare Trumbull Memorial Hospital. No charges had been filed in Warren Municipal Court as of Thursday.
