Lauren Zap and Jonathan Bixler
GIRARD
The parents of Lauren Zap of Girard and Jonathan Bixler of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, join them in announcing the couple’s upcoming marriage.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Dennis and Linda Zap of Girard, and the prospective groom is the son of Paul and Hester Bixler of Chagrin Falls.
The ceremony will take place Oct. 7at St. Rose Catholic Church with a reception to follow at The Avalon Inn, Warren. Invitations are being issued for both events.
Miss Zap graduated from University of Akron with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She is a registered nurse in the neonatal intensive care unit at Akron Children’s Hospital, St. Elizabeth Hospital Boardman.
Mr. Bixler attended Cuyahoga Community College and is a transport paramedic for Akron Children’s Hospital, Beeghly Campus, and a firefighter and paramedic for Bainbridge Township Fire Department.
