Kensington Avenue man beaten with guns, golf club

YOUNGSTOWN — A 27-year-old man, who lives near the Kensington Avenue house where a man was fatally shot Tuesday, was attacked today with handguns and a golf club during an assault at his home, police said.

Police are investigating whether the incident is related to the shooting of Andre Harrison, who resided at 1515 Kensington Ave.

The 27-year-old Kensington Avenue man said three men forced their way into his house about 12:15 a.m. today demanding drugs. When he said he didn’t have any, two men pistol whipped him while another hit him with a golf club, according to a police report.

The man was able to get out of the house and the three assailants left, police said.
