Man reports his car was shot at after he was cut off on expressway

YOUNGSTOWN — Reports said a 54-year-old man was not hurt after someone in a passing car Tuesday fired a bullet at his car that lodged in the back of the driver's seat while he was driving.

The victim drove himself to the police station about 7:30 p.m., where he told police he was driving on the Himrod Avenue Expressway toward Interstate 680 south when another car cut him off, then someone inside fired several shots at him from inside the car.

Reports said a bullet went through the trunk and hit the back of the seat. The bullet did not penetrate to the front of the seat, reports said.
