NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.
Opera Westminster will present “Scenic Views,” a collection of international selections, at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 5 in Orr Auditorium. The concert is free to the public.
Under the direction of Anne Hagan Bentz, associate professor of music, the program will feature selections from “Die Hochzeit des Figaros,” “L’elisir d’Amore,” “Carmen” and “Fidelio” (Spain); “Boccaccio” (Italy); “Countess Mariza” (Romania); “Csardasfurstin” (Hungary); “Faust” (Germany); and “Manon,” “Werther” and “La Traviata” (France).
Accompaniment will be provided by Westminster College Orchestra students and guests.
