Allison Davis married Ian Lanzillotti Aug. 27. They reside in Cleveland, Tenn. The bride is the daughter of Linda and Murray Davis of Boardman. The groom is the son of Brenda Archer and Tom Lanzillotti, both of Tampa, Fla.
The 6:30 p.m. ceremony took place at the B&O Station and was officiated by Rabbi Saul Oresky. A reception followed at the B&O. The couple plan to travel to Italy for their honeymoon to visit the hometown of the groom’s ancestors.
The bride wore her grandmother’s wedding crown for the ceremony. The bride’s sisters Marla, Suzanne and Laura Davis served as the bridesmaids. The flower girls were Mia and Sophie Lanzillotti, nieces of the groom. The groom’s brother, Heath Lanzillotti, was the best man.
The bride graduated from Ohio State University with a master’s degree in creative writing and teaches composition and creative writing courses at Tennessee Wesleyan University and Stanford University. The groom graduated from Ohio State University with a doctorate in history and is a professor of history at Tennessee Wesleyan University.
