13TH district

TIM RYAN* (D)

Age: 43

Address: 560 Amber Drive, Howland.

Employment: Congressman.

Education: A law degree from the New Hampshire School of Law, a bachelor’s degree in political science from Bowling Green State University.

Family: Wife, Andrea; two stepdaughters, a son.

Priority: Economic development, job creation, and helping to reform the education of our children.

RICHARD MORCKEL (R)

Age: 61

Address: 246 Clinton Ave., Akron.

Employment: Works for Philips.

Education: Two associate degrees from Kent State Salem Campus.

Family: Wife, Christine.

Priority: Restoration of our military, prohibit the raiding of Social Security, pro-life with the exception of rape and incest, defend state rights.

6TH district

MICHAEL LORENTZ (D)

Age: 65

Address: 809 Mary St., Belpre.

Employment: Belpre mayor.

Education: A Belpre High School graduate.

Family: Wife, Joyce; two children.

Priority: Make sure health care is affordable and available to all, protect businesses from unfair trade agreements, and make college more affordable.

BILL JOHNSON* (R)

Age: 61

Address: 519 Fifth St., Marietta.

Employment: Congressman.

Education: A master’s degree in information and computer science from Georgia Tech, a bachelor’s degree in computer and information science from Troy University.

Family: Wife, LeeAnn; four children.

Priority: National security, jobs and the economy, eliminating the IRS and replacing the tax code with something simpler, fairer and flatter.
