BASEBALL

Youngstown State University — is hosting a six week baseball camp starting Jan. 8. Youngstown State coach Jason Neal will direct the program in conjunction with U.S. Baseball Academy. Classes are available for players in grades 1-12 and are limited to seven players per coach. Sessions are offered in advanced hitting, pitching, catching, fielding and baserunning. Space is limited. Westminster College — will host four skills camps on Sundays throughout February. Camps are for grades 1-6 and 7-12. Camp packages can be bought for $300 for all four Sundays, or for $75 per day camp. BASKETBALL

Lisbon High School — is sponsoring a youth basketball tournament for boys in 4th-5th-6th grades. The dates are Jan. 21st-22nd-28th-29th and Feb. 4th and 5th. All teams are guaranteed 4 games. Entry fee is $150 for the tournament. For more information contact Chris Huckshold, 330-853-2312.

Mahoning Valley Basketball Officials Association — is looking for athletes ages 14 and up interested in becoming high school basketball officials. Those interested should contact Don Dobrindt at hoopsrefclass16@gmail.com for more information.

Third annual Canfield Cardinal Classic — is a fourth-, fifth- and sixth-grade boys basketball tournament at Canfield Village Middle School. Tournament dates are Dec. 3-4 and Dec. 10-11.
