AARP Chapter 4611 East will meet Wednesday at Centenary United Methodist Church, 1413 Belmont Ave., Youngstown. An executive board meeting at 10 a.m. will be followed by a Thanksgiving luncheon at noon; members are asked to take a covered dish. The cost is $6 for nonmembers. Nonperishable items will be collected for a cheer basket, and school supplies also are needed. Officers for 2017 will be nominated and elected. Christmas and a gift exchange will be discussed. There will be a 50-50 raffle. Members are asked to report illnesses and deaths to Evelyn Jenkins at 330-530-2734.

Croatian Pensioners will meet at noon Thursday at the Croatian Home on Vestal Road in Youngstown. Cards and bingo will be played.

Dollar Bank Retirees will meet at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Denny’s on Route 224 in Boardman. All former employees are invited to attend whether or not they have retired. Contact Sandy Ross at 330-506-1290 for information. The annual Christmas party will take place at noon Dec. 7 at the Holiday Inn in Boardman. Reservations will be taken at the meeting.

Girard OldTimers will meet at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday for a luncheon at Lamancusa Restaurant, Trumbull Road.

Liberty 55-Plus Club will meet for its annual catered Thanksgiving luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Assembly Church on Cardinal Drive. Lee Anne Martyak will preside, and hostesses will be Audrey Dagan, Dorothy Durina and Kay Herberger. Cards will be played, and November birthdays will be acknowledged.
