Amanda Mesmer and David Miller, both of Poland, were married Oct. 7 by Pastor Ben Kendrew at Butler North Church. A reception took place at Drake’s Landing in Canfield.

The bride is the daughter of Rick and Patty Mesmer of East Palestine. The groom is the son of Becky Semes of Tampa, Fla.

Mrs. Miller wore a gown with a high illusion neckline and low back, embellished with beads and crystals that flowed into a mermaid skirt and chapel train trimmed with satin and crystal buttons.

Kaitlyn Mesmer, a sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. The bridesmaids were Korie Brittain, Tracy Reinard, Megan Meek, Chelsea Stevens, Jalissa Miller and Jessica Miller. Rylee Brittain was the flower girl. The attendants wore a mixture of black and tan gowns.

Brian Keenan and Jared Welday shared the duties of best man. The groomsmen were Jake Stone, John Rinkes, Brandon Stevens, Doug Miller and John Watts. Finn Harvey was the ring bearer.

They traveled to Maryland for their honeymoon and make their home in Poland.

Mrs. Miller graduated from Youngstown State University with a bachelor’s degree, and earned a master’s degree from Ohio University. She is a nursing home administrator for Humility House in Austintown.

Mr. Miller graduated from West Liberty University and is a laboratory technician for UPMC in Verona, Pa.
