CANFIELD
The Alzheimer Network will host its annual Walking Together event, rain or shine, Saturday at the Canfield Fairgrounds.
The title of the event symbolizes the bond between patients and caregivers, as well as the network’s presence in the Valley to support families dealing with the disease. Participants are urged to walk in honor of or in memory of a loved one or to create awareness of the disease.
Registration is available in advance by calling 330-788-9755; registration that day will open at 8:30 a.m. Light refreshments will be provided. There will be a basket auction and 50-50 raffles.
