The Youngstown-Warren (Ohio) Black Nurses Association will host its annual scholarship brunch from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the McGuffey Centre, 1649 Jacobs Road.
The theme of the event is “The Impact of Substance Abuse in the African-American Community.” Michelle Morrell from Neil Kennedy Recovery Clinic will speak.
Scholarship recipients Laeeqa Wilson and Prudence Glover of Mercy College School of Nursing will be honored.
