Police said they found suspected crack cocaine in a traffic stop Thursday, and suspected heroin and suspected marijuana in an additional traffic stop Wednesday morning.

Arraigned in municipal court Friday on a charge of possession of crack cocaine was Bernard Hasley, 47, of Idora Avenue. He was the driver of a car pulled over about 5:10 p.m. Thursday at West Hylda and Hudson avenues that ran a stop sign.

Reports said the car smelled heavily of marijuana and Hasley admitted smoking marijuana. He was taken out of the car to be searched, and police found a bag of suspected crack cocaine in his pocket, reports said.

The passenger, Darrell Brown, 34, of Crandall Avenue, had three Suboxone strips in his pocket when he was searched, reports said. He was issued a citation for possession of drugs and released.

Judge Elizabeth Kobly set Hasley’s bond at $5,000.

About 1 a.m. Thursday, Martasia Walker, 18, of Detroit Avenue, was arrested on a charge of possession of heroin, and Ignacio Rios, 24, of Cleveland, was taken into custody on a charge of possession of marijuana and also three warrants from municipal court. A car Walker was driving was pulled over for expired registration at Oak Street and Forest Avenue.

Reports said Rios had four bags of suspected marijuana on him, and officers found pills and a dose of suspected heroin in Walker’s purse, although Walker insisted that Rios put the drugs in her purse. Reports said Rios also has a felony warrant out of Franklin County.

Walker’s bond was set at $5,000. Rios’ bond information was not available.
