CAMPBELL

A Campbell teen faces a felony charge of failure to comply with the order of a police officer after purportedly leading cops on a chase through multiple neighborhoods Wednesday morning.

Jesus Febres IV, 18, also is charged with resisting arrest, criminal trespass, driving without a license and prohibited operation of an off-road vehicle.

Police arrived about 10 a.m. to the area of 16th Street and Bright Avenue in response to Febres driving an off-road vehicle over lawns and causing damage, officer Robert Vukovich said.

Febres led officers on a pursuit through several neighborhoods and failed to stop at multiple stop signs, Vukovich said. Febres eventually got off the vehicle and ran away on foot before being apprehended in a wooded area between Whipple and Hyatt avenues, according to police.

Febres is in the Mahoning County jail without bond. His case is set for arraignment Friday in Campbell Municipal Court.
