ACTORS
“The Little Mermaid Jr.,SDRq directed by Niki Slaven, with musical direction by Bret Cowden, youth theater of Salem Community Theater, 490 E. State St., auditions from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Friday and 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday. A large cast of girls and boys age 6 to 18 is needed. Prepare a short song for the audition. Sheet music is preferred, but actors may use a CD without vocals or sing a capella. Callbacks will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, at which actors will be asked to perform a simple dance combination. “The Fox on the Fairway,SDRq directed by Paula Ferguson, New Castle Playhouse, 202 E. Long Ave., New Castle, Pa., auditions at 6 p.m. April 10 and 11. This comedic show pulls the rug out from underneath the stuffy denizens of a private country club. Three men and three women are being sought. Performances will take place June 10-12 and 16-19.
