Officials said the open house will provide the opportunity to learn more about Lordstown workers, vehicle manufacturing, the next-generation Chevrolet Cruze and the company’s rich history in the Mahoning Valley.

“Thanks to the support we have received from our customers and this community, Lordstown has established a strong U.S. manufacturing footprint that directly and indirectly employs thousands of people in our region,” said Lordstown Plant Manager Steve Notar Donato and UAW 1112 President Glenn Johnson in a joint statement. “The open house is our way of showing our appreciation to the community where we operate and thank all who have worked hard over the years so that Lordstown can celebrate this landmark anniversary.”

Those interested in the tour guests should register in advance at a Chevrolet dealership. The walking tour route will take approximately one hour.
