The cold didn’t bother the Poland residents when they came to the “Frozen” themed Valentine’s Day party at the Poland library on Feb. 13.
Jen Kuczek put together a “Frozen” Valentine’s Day party for children to come to at the Poland library the day before Valentine’s Day. The event was filled with different “Frozen” activities for the children to play.
“I didn’t think anyone was going to come because of the weather, but we had about 53 people show up so far,” said Kuczek.
Children, most of them girls, came to make crafts like Frozen Valentine’s Day cards and eat “moose munch” for a snack. The movie “Frozen” played during the event for people to take a break from the activities and watch.
There was a “Frozen” photo area set up on one side of the room for the children to use props and take a picture. Props included Elsa hair, an Olaf mouth and plenty of speech bubbles for the children to choose for their pictures.
One popular game was the snowball toss. There were three different buckets for children to throw white balls into and each bucket represented a different level. The higher the level, the harder the shot.
