WARREN — The 38 Trumbull County Democratic Party Central Committee members for Warren will vote at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Trumbull Business College, 3200 Ridge Road, Suite 17, to select a temporary replacement for Anthony Natale as Warren auditor.
Two Warren councilmen, Vince Flask and Eddie Colbert, so far are the only two people who have expressed an interest in the position, said Dan Polivka, party chairman.
A candidate must submit a letter of interest and resume to Polivka by 4 p.m. Thursday.
Natale resigned from June 21, when he pleaded guilty in federal court to conveying false information related to use of a weapon of mass destruction for sending an unknown white powder in an envelop to a former employer, causing an evacuation.
