v Youngstown Air Reserve Station open house, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Military aircraft, equipment displays, interactive activities and food vendors will be featured. v William Holmes McGuffey Historical Society, 10 a.m.: Frank Nolasco, a leader in the Valley’s Hispanic community, will share reflections in the Memories of a Lifetime series at Kravitz Deli, 3135 Belmont Ave., Youngstown.

v Simply Slavic, noon to midnight: The ethnic event features food, Slavic beer garden, exhibits and entertainment on Federal Plaza East, Youngstown. Admission is $4; 12 and younger, free.

Moscow Ballet to perform Nov. 26

YOUNGSTOWN

Tickets go on sale Monday for Moscow Ballet’s celebrated “Great Russian Nutcracker,” which returns at 7 p.m. Nov. 26 to Powers Auditorium in the DeYor Performing Arts Center. The classic “Nutcracker” will entertain the whole family this Christmas. The company includes 40 dancers.

Tickets start at $30. Groups of 10 or more, with an interactive program for Girl Scout troops, are eligible for discounts and benefits via smi@nutcracker.com.
