Realtors group plans fundraiser
YOUNGSTOWN
The Youngstown Columbiana Association of Realtors is fundraising to build a house with Habitat for Humanity of Mahoning Valley. YCAR recently had a successful “Reverse Raffle” fundraiser and has a golf outing planned for July. These events and other efforts will benefit the Habitat house.
Simon Roofing acquires Roth
YOUNGSTOWN
Simon Roofing, a national manufacturer/installer and service provider of commercial roofing systems based in Youngstown, announced Monday the company’s acquisition of significant assets of Roth Roofing Products LLC, formerly known as Viridian Systems LLC, a Roth Bros./Sodexo company that manufactures commercial roofing materials.
The deal includes Simon Roofing taking ownership of inventory, equipment, product lines, formulations, codes and approvals, the Viridian name and related intellectual property.
Other terms of the acquisition will not be disclosed.
Remodeled rue21 store ribbon-cutting ceremony planned

Rue21 , a teen specialty retailer, will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony for its remodeled and expanded store in Southern Park Mall at 7401 Market St. at 9:15 a.m. Friday.
The store includes apparel and accessories for both girls and guys, rue+ plus sizes, rue decor, home accessories and decor.
It is one of the 160 new and remodeled stores rue21 plans to open in 2016, which is a part of the company’s continued growth in size and categories.
